This position is responsible for the development and implementation (medical/ commercial) scientific programs, projects and KOL management of the TOP accounts in the Benelux, with a special focus on the Netherlands in close cooperation with the Country Manager and the KAM’s therapeutics and international colleagues. This function is an external field function for 80% of the time and an internal function for 20% of the time.
Accountable for the development of an extended KOL strategy and plan based on the needs of the target audience in combination with the ambition for growth of the customer's Therapeutic business
Accountable for the development in cooperation with the Therapeutic team of (medical/commercial) scientific programs and projects to differentiate their business and support the establishment of the Therapeutic business in the Benelux
Responsible for the implementation of the KOL strategy, plan and projects
Responsible for the contracts and contacts with the KOLs and/or hospitals related to the defined projects and KOL projects
Responsible in cooperation with the Key Account Manager for implementation of (medical/commercial) scientific projects of strategic and commercial value on Benelux level, including internal and external educational programs.
Responsible (content-wise) in cooperation with the KAM’s for the advisory boards in the Benelux, with special focus on the Netherlands
Responsible for (the development and follow-up) investigator-initiated trials or related proposals in close contact with the relevant international peers
Supports actively the KAM’s in the development of their regional KAM plans, based on his/her knowledge on the needs and opportunities of the particular region.
Supports actively the development and implementation of the yearly Business Plan for Therapeutics
Supports actively the involvement of speakers and trainers for the workshops, projects and events
Supports the internal onboarding and training programs from the medical scientific point of view
Is committed to the Compliance requirements/agenda
Is committed to work closely with international peers
Education: This position requires a scientific and commercial background on Higher Education and/or University level & a full driving license.
Experience: A minimum of three years of experience within the pharmaceutical or related industry preferable both scientific and commercial functions. Proven record in KOL management and (development and implementation of) scientific projects is required. Experienced in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Languages: Must be fluent in Dutch (native) and English. Knowledge of the French language in writing and speaking is an advantage.
